this time next to my home door a culinary experience! from us went to gabbro restaurant in the old town of lille. the restaurant was unknown to me, but already won a good call. recently rewarded by the Michelin leadership as the best balance between quality and price. my feedback, if very positiw, selection of dishes a la carte quite short, (which is for me a sign for a fresh house made food). the prices are reasonable, but the wine list is a bit expensive. when they go with the car, be patient, as among these small roads are only few parking spaces available. small dining room, better to book in advance.

a second evening spent there, with always the same spirit: few dishes, but excellent products, and a perfect guide for wee that best fit the court they have chosen. fresh and excellent!

we went to this restaurant that was recommended to us. the menu was small (only or horny) so better to avoid it when they are a fussy eater! the cursor. we enjoyed every single cursor. the food was fresh and well cooked. the waiter was friendly and the wee was cheap. the restaurant was small, which made it very cozy. a perfect evening! highly recommended if they are in the opposite!

traditional French cuisine with great fineness. in the menu a la carte we loved the house terrine, definitely one of the best ever tried. the main course and the wee were excellent. we recommend it very much.

I was basically very happy with my lunch here, but some of the dishes seemed a bit careless or over-exuberant. Just a little more fine-tuning of the spices, a little less cooking of the squid, etc. would make it even better. Good service and wines...by the glass, pleasant atmosphere with a lively mix of customers. I wouldn't hesitate to return!

We were looking for a restaurant close to our hotel in Lille. We looked on TripAdvisor and choose this restaurant because of the location and the many good reviews. When we arrived we found there was not so many choice: A three course menu, or...a four course menu with a few variations. Many words we didn't understand since we are both Dutchspeaking. Though the very friendly waiter gave us all the explanation we wanted. I had the four course menu, my wife the three course menu. For my wife they prepared an extra free dish, so she didn't had to watch me eating. All the dishes were really delicious. Cuisson of meat and fish was excellent. They have an excellent winecard, with many choice. We were very with the Chablis we chose. Everything with an excellent value for money. I would gladly go back. It was one of the few times in my life I was happy to tip in a restaurant. They deserved it...

Great experience having the course dinner for euro there was also a euro option) Started off with a glass of house champagne euro), with a sample appetizer of simply fresh tasteful radish. Menu started with a soup of peas gambas,...followed by amazingly tasting mushrooms with garlic sauce. Then a good piece of Turbot with nice vegetables. Dessert was a choice of (strawberry pie or a abricot/pistache dessert), but also an option for cheese platter. We were full and very satisfied, including from the recommended bottle of Chablis. Interesting wine list starting below euro and up. The young guys running this place clearly do it with passion and fun, and with results....
