L'Ocean Cafe - Les Sables-d'Olonne

an hour waiting to be moored..a not pleasant server at all, never a thank you,svp...a salad at 15 euros, with just a little tuna in box and a slice of smoky salmon and 3 shrimps.. all the way I was as hungry as when I arrived. my wife, her molds were cold and super salted with rust at the bottom of their coconut....and for the children, no menu, but a mini homemade pizza at 8€ . so we preferred to eat ice creams in front of Italian that were excellent....if they relax but seen the exceptional location they will certainly have nothing to do with our comments...but to avoid, really!

We wanted to take an aperitif in front of the ocean after having made a market turn. Since my wife is a little girl, she has been regularly close to this establishment that has evolved over the years.In the first time we were put on the side (so no view of the ocean, positive point of the establishment) on the pretext that all tables were already erected (it was 11h). the waitress arrived and took our order, no smile, no thank you and when we asked her about the beer we really had the impression of boring her. So we ordered a beer and a royal kir. When the waitress arrived with our order, she misguidedly overturned the entire royal kir on my shirt and my bermuda (something that can happen). She apologized and we took that with the smile. Then she came back and rushed to clean. The table. She once again came back with two small paper towels (which I had to ask) so I could wipe myself. She left again saying that she was going to make a kir again (it's the least thing). At the time of payment I naturally asked for a commercial gesture, the waitress told me that we ordered something that was ultimately served and that the commercial gesture was not justified. Ah good?????!!!!!Before our astonishment, she proposed to bring back the note of the dry cleaners. Like we're gonna clean up a t-shirt and a bermuda at the dry cleaners. We have been frankly disappointed, and we will not put our feet back to this establishment. If you want to drink a drink or eat in an ideal context with pleasant and commercial people, pass your path and go down to the beach at the float bar (see direct on the ocean the feet in the sand).

And now, having a baby requires you from this restaurant to eat elsewhere than on their terrace. a nice place available, (large to accommodate our stroller or a high chair), authorized by the waitress but when the baby sees it asks us to go on the terrace on the side! visibly it doesn't make it pretty to be on the terrace with a stroller. In short I advise you to go to the acropolis (right beside) super restaurant and place available with a baby!

First the service was great and the person in charge of our table was as sweet as one could be. However you will pay a lot for not so much in your plate. It is good, but definitely overpriced for the quantity/quality.

arrived at 9 on the 14th of August we were immediately installed on a table that had just been erected (it was 12:15). fast and well-hythmed service. friendly map (4 vegan dishes which is a plus because my companion is vegetarian) and consistent price compared to the frame (on the remblai face to the beach) in photo the burger vegan

the reception is not the warmest, to book the terrace at the meal service on 15 August at 2pm why not it is the game of the trade behind it is to ensure. after 30 minutes spent waiting for a card (eat in 1 hour without worrying to listen to the waitress) to order we went in front and were received correctly and had good eaten. Given the opinions on dishes a priori no regret we didn't miss anything. Good luck!

Not always clean dishes, melted ice creams, portions of children,...I could chain on the staff's welcome but I stop there...You understood, go to the next restaurant.
