very pretty terrace on 270 degree, a magnificent view at 2700m altitude. The meal is copyy and good but stay a little expensive even for meribel.

Les Pierres Plates is located high above Montaret and Courchevel. It has great views to south. A dinner at the balcony in nice weather is a musta - just book the table in advance. The menu is varied and has plentifull of choices. We had entrecote, Savoinese salad and hamburger (mind that medium=>medium- so if you dont like really red meat, it is worth to order well done). Wine selection is medicore. And the bad part is that ciew costs - ,lunch prices start at >20€ and wines >35€. In average a lunch will cost you close to 50€.

seasonal restaurant on the station I think I have tested a lot of the restaurants present on merebel and mottaret. result for this establishment: catastrophic. We came to the flat stones thinking that we would be happy with the titles of the dishes and the high prices. Unfortunately the result is not there. everything is fade and products of very poor quality or poorly cooked. service is more than average (entrances served at the back table. We had to rectify the shoot ourselves. No excuses, the server didn't notice anything anyway. bottle of wine removed from the table as we had not finished. We had to point out again) in a nutshell. It's the place where I've eaten the worst but also the place where I paid the most expensive one without making madness.

I want to start by saying that i hate writing negative reviews. People should focus on the positive things in life but in this case i had to because i just feel this place takes advantage of so many tourists.I've visited this place recently and was very dissapointed. Waited for over half an hour in line just to order some drinks, there were 6 people in front of me. While waiting in line to the left i could see inside the kitchen and dishwashing area. I was shocked to see how slow the dishwasher was working like she didn't care. On top of that the kitchen chef seemed to be alone and was in a whole lot of stress while her colleagues were slacking it. I'm a waiter / kitchen help myself and this is shamefull!Besides waiting a long time to order, you will find yourself being robbed. I'll add a picture to show the prices. Now i know buying drinks and food can be expensive on top of a mountain but 'Les Pierres Plates' is not ashamed to ask 7,5 euro for a simple (small) platter of french fries or € 10 for a standard burger with no fries. The expensive cheeseburger lacked flavor and the buns were dry. Seriously i can do a way better job making a great cheeseburger spending about 3 euro to ingredients. I strongly warn anyone going to this place! Even if you go just for drinks you'll lose a lot of time waiting in line. They are not worth of your time or money, trust me.

I often read other reviews before writing mine to try to see why many can be both extremely good or poor. We were a group of 6 and had a really superb lunch in all respects. We booked the day before for 2pm and when the weather seemed to be poor made sure that morning we had a table reserved inside. At 2pm we find service is normally very good as we have avoided the 1pm rush which we find is often manic in all mountain restaurants. Today was excellent here. Friendly and prompt. This restaurant was chosen for a reason. It is not cheap here, but for a special occasion the location really takes some beating. Inside or outside the views are absolutely breathtaking. For a lunch with wine you should expect a bill of about 50e and 75e pp. depending on the number of courses and the chosen main meal. Mine was a very unique roasted pumpkin !! I have never seen this on a menu before. It was delicious and VERY filling. (No real need for a starter or dessert!).So all in all a great venue for a special lunch, but book in advance and confirm if you want inside or outside. Personally in early season I always choose inside as can be a bit chilly on the terrace , even if sunny. Late season..in the sun...the terrace is fantastic.

correct kitchen but out of price. servers that are not easy. and situation more encountered for a very long time: it is not possible to have a carafe of water ... in conclusion, to avoid one can have better, much cheaper and with the same view on the summits.

loving boss like a prison door, who denigrates his staff in front of the customers. Certainly the julie potiron was good but the rest of the dishes were fades, except the addition that was well salted. No thanks or goodbye, pass your way to other restaurants much more pleasant.

the view is breathtaking, efficient staff and homemade dishes. special mention to the julie-shaped potimaron and to the turndos of apples in dessert. count 50 euros per adult.
