Incredible freshly cooked food in a beautiful setting. Four of us turned up unannounced on a Friday lunchtime and asked for a vegan meal, the owner was more than happy to provide. We had three courses, absolutely delicious, freshly prepared with ingredients from the surrounding farms. Top quality food for all.

My wife and I were cycling in this quiet unspoilt area of the Loire and losing hope of ever finding anywhere to eat at lunchtime. Arriving in this very quiet village on a hot sunny day we feared that nowhere was open but came round the corner to find this little gem of a restaurant. It was already 1.45 pm but we were made most welcome and , choosing to sit outside across from the beautiful church, were served a delicious 2 course lunch. Both had a local ham and melon salad.. for mains a slow cooked Moroccan lamb and a curried modules pasta. A must visit for anyone in the area .

This is an absolute gem of a local restaurant, with a strong organic focus in both food and wine. The welcome is warm and relaxed, the food stylish, imaginative and effortlessly delicious. It is unfussy home cooking at its finest. On a recent Sunday evening visit, the restaurant was not really open, but due to the number of people stopping by to ask in the afternoon, Pascale somehow produced, at short notice, a fabulous meal for 20 of us, all seated at a long table outside. It was the stuff of memories: a hot summer evening of free-flowing wine and conversation, and eagerly-devoured, copious food. There are always great local organic wines to try here as well, which can be bought to take away.

Great meal, great wine, great service... a warm welcome, a laid back ambience and absolutely nothing to complain about. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Within 20 minutes of the restaurant being open, it was full. Make sure you book ahead. Creative menu. Starter was a cabbage slaw with grains, quinoa perhaps. Very tasty. The main was a white fish which was very flaky and dessert was some sort of crumble which was nice as well. There is only one waitress and she was working herself to death. She won't be able to last long at that pace. My only complaint is that when we told her we were contemplating wine, she told us to go into the other room and pick one out. You pay for the wine and a corking fee. We thought that was strange. Later, we saw her bring a carafe of wine to another table. That is what we had wanted, but she never told us that was an option. We assumed everyone had to pick out the wine from the other room.
