We went to Le Gourmandin in June 2017 and had an excellent meal in the small square on a very warm June evening. The set menu is very good value for money-the service is efficient and attentive. We had the guinea fowl as main course which was extremely tasty. We would highly recommend this restaurant.Sam Leigh 1936London

Looking for a post Christmas lunch not too far from the local train station might not be the best way to have a gourmet experience, but Le Gourmandin delivered in spades!!We were a table of five friends going our separate ways after celebrating Christmas together. Opting for the 31€ Menu du Marché we we all enjoyed four courses of absolute perfection. I started with the tricolour of fish and the others relished truffle scented gnocchi, after this came pigeon breast in a red wine jus, or, for me, a delectable plate of sole monkfish and limone. Highlight of the cheese menu were the tiny individual goat cheeses served melting hot in a warm bath of honey - how we all managed to follow with glorious desserts after this is truly remarkable. We left after shaking hands with the chef feeling truly "restored" by his wonderful food, but isn't this what restaurants should all be doing??

One of the best restaurants which I have visited in the last few years. Traditional cuisine excellent service and great value for money. Whatever you order will be superb and with a great wine list. The menu de Marché at €31 is a bargain. Not the easiest place to find but well worth the effort!

Excellent refined food. Very creative chef. The terrace above the stream is lovely. Service is impeccable and friendly. Wines are reasonably priced and properly selected. One f the best quality over price in that gourmet category.

This is a fantastic place with great ambience and food! Although bit on upper end - still an excellent rapport between price and service. Very classy, great fresh menu and refreshing choices. Well worth to visit!

I have been to Le Gourmandin before and I have had extraordinairy food in their lovely garden. And this Saturday I went again, and I was not dissapointed. First of all, I appreciate the relaxed atmosphere and the friendly staff, and above all the lack of stress with which they serve the food. We arrived at 12:15 and left at 15:30.The tastes of the food, and the look of each dish are just delicious, I have nothing else to say, just try it for yourselves. Le Luc is only one hour from Cannes.

We approached Le Gourmandin - an oasis of fine dining in a village that appears to have seen happier times - in a spirit of trepidation: no reservation - in August! We were seated and quickly served with the starter on our 35 EUR menu: a superb ricotta based vegetable mousse. For meat eaters: the duckling was properly done 'a point' and camw with a fine reduction, and although the fish was a little bland, the cheeses and desserts (peach soup) were just right for an extremely hot evening.Service was a little slow, but conscientious and friendly.
