My (French) wife and I visited Section 10 last night and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Whilst this restaurant does have a small menu, every dish is interesting, fresh, tasty and carefully put together. I also understand that the menu changes on a weekly basis. The food style is modern French/Catalan with local ingredients where possible and the chief/owner clearly has some talent with food. I am an admittedly fussy eater by French standards, but I found I could find something to eat from the two or three choices in each course. You pay for the number of courses chosen and I am told that the price is as expected for a mid-range restaurant in the area, The decor of the establishment is an interesting mix of modern and quirky with old painted food signs on the wall - but in worked and it came over as quirky but charming. The toilet is somewhat reminiscent of a Ballentine's Spa treatment room! The waiter is excellent, explaining each dish in French or, English if you prefer, and is attentive just the right amount for a couples dinner. We also spoke to the lovely chef/owner on the way out. If you go expecting a busy bistro, with an extensive menu to choose from, then you may be disappointed. I think this is a great "date night" restaurant for couples who like to try interesting little restaurants. Please don't take my word for it, look at the French reviews (there is a translate button on each review). We liked it enough to recommend it to my wife's family who live locally and we are looking forward to going back.
