This is the only resto in the little quiet therefore nice village of La Tour Blanche. At entry You think it's just a bar, but hey they have a good resto with large outside terrace for the good weather!Friendly service. Parking space in front in the street. Food is honest and good! Try the local pizza's as the Perigordaine. Highly recommended.
We were staying in town and had a fabulous lunch here. Loved how there was no menu - every course was a surprise! Fantastic experience - merci!!
We all had the five course lunch menu which was excellent value. It was a hot day, and we were asked where we would like to seated, so elected outside, which is through the bar, to the exterior I to a shaded courtyard. Food good, service excellent.Have been before, and will definitely go back.
When we arrived with our seven month old, the bar/restaurant had several people playing snooker and eating whilst chatting quite loudly, so the woman behind the bar was particularly kind and helpful and offered for us to sit in a room at the back of the restaurant. We were pleasantly surprised to find we had the entire room to ourselves - this was ideal as when my daughter woke up I was able to feed her and she slept whilst we enjoyed our pizzas; the salmon pizza with olives was particularly tasty.A lovely meal to have during the week.
This is our local village restaurant. We visited a couple of times over the summer for the set lunch, which is fantastic value and always very busy. We also had 'eat in' pizza twice, the last time was with visiting family in September 2015, there is a good choice of toppings and the pizzas are large and very reasonably priced. We also had take out pizza a couple of times. If you are staying in or near La Tour Blanche we highly recommend this restaurant. The staff are friendly and speak a little English and the food and wine is very good value for money. We also recommend it to our B&B guests.
We entered this small bar off the main square in La Tour-Blanche filled with locals. The lady behind the bar asked if we wanted to eat in the bar or in the restaurant. When we indicated that we would prefer the restaurant she took us through to the back where there was a large dining room (around 50 seats) and offered us the menu.We chose the full menu de jour which consisted of soup, starter, main course, cheese and dessert accompanied by both wine and coffee! And all for 15 euros apiece!!The quality was good - not gourmet - but the value was outstanding
In a lovely village . Un assuming but great ambiance. Cakes in for dinner on a quiet Monday . Superb owners welcoming and just relaxed
