La Douanerie - La Roche-Bernard

We visited for dinner. There were a few people sitting outside, but none inside. We had to wait around 10 minutes for our order to be taken, and then another 10 mins for drinks to arrive. The outside seating area was filling up and becoming busy. It took around 45 minutes for food to arrive from being ordered. One couple who arrived after us left after waiting 20 mins to be served. The slow service was disappointing but I can't blame the waitress. She seemed to be the only waitress working and never stopped, she worked her socks off. Food was ok, nothing fancy, but not overly expensive. We decided to go elsewhere for coffee and dessert as we couldn't face another long wait. There is a great view of the quay and marina, and it's a good place to sit outside and admire the views. I feel that this place is trading on that as the food we had was ok but not great and the service was extremely slow. I feel that they need more staff at busy times.

Unbeatable location adjacent to marina with beautiful boats: Delicious croque Madame, warm, patient staff. Welcoming of children.

The view over the port from the terrace is beautiful, and the service was fantastic and very friendly.

A delightful location and efficient staff. The food was good and the gourmand dessert very tasty. Oysters, followed by skate were a good lead in two this triple delight.

We have the misfortune of trying for a drink next door ,but turned away as they would only serve a drink with food We want to praise you for your excellent serve ,friendliness and for being so polite.Our drinks were very quick and so refreshing.It was a pleasure to sit and watch the people and boats go by.We would certainly recommend your establishment to everyone we know Thank You

Visited several times whilst moored in La Roche Bernard. Loved sitting outside watching the people and boats. Great choice of drinks offered. Staff very friendly. Prices good.. Well worth a visit

We visited on several occasions during our 2 week holiday in the area. We enjoyed sitting outside in the morning with a coffee watching the boats in the harbour. Staff were friendly and helpful. Lots of drinks choices.

We actually visited to enjoy a quiet drink and watch the world go by on a beautiful sunny Sunday afternoon. The outside terrace is located right on the side of the Estuary facing yacht moorings and late afternoon sun, if out!!Quite surprised to see quality of food coming out from inside kitchen so decided to have a late afternoon snack, we were not disappointed, in fact the Croque Monsieur I had was as good if not better than any I had in Paris! and thatis saying something.Very busy with lots of people popping in, families, yachtsmen, locals and tourists. Great location for a drink a snack or a quick meal. Portions were most generous. A truly great find.
