To me A "Memorable Restaurant" knows what it can do and still offer the variety desired by its clients... While it is not on a well worn "tourist route", those like us, who have found are most pleased that we did. Give it a try and you will definitely not be disappointed!!

Came here for a nice meal on the last night of our trip to Minervois. I would suggest popping in earlier in the day to enquier about opening/closing hours as it can vary. The chef was an excellent host, he talked us through the menu and reassured us that the set menus could be 'mixed+matches' which was excellent as there are some adventurous dishes on there! Throughout the meal he made sure we had plenty drink and always seemed to appear with more bread any time we finished one basket. The food came out in good time. We all had a salad 'starter' and I was amazed at the size of portion we were given, it was fresh and had a tasty light dressing. For main I went for the smaller duck breast dish (there was larger option which is 500g... thats a lot of duck!) it was cooked beautifully and came in a delicious sauce with grilled veg.We all mustered the courage to have a pudding, I stuck with the creme brûlée which was superb; the best one o had the whole time in France, its my go to pudding...

This part of the world is decidedly underwhelming when it comes to a simple lunch. The dinners aren't too amazing either. But Les Meulieres does a stand up job. Excellent food and decent service. A little on the pricey side, but I'd happily visit again. It's easy to miss when driving through the village. Just a small sign on a wall posting to what at first appears to be picnic tables. We chose from the Carte and had a couple of drinks which in part explains the price. From what we saw the Menu du Jour offers much better value

Recommended Les Meullieres by owner of Chambre d'hotes in Trausse we were staying at. Well worth the visit with top quality food.Met on arrival by Jonathan and presented with relatively limited but still broad menu. Went for the formula which seemed good value.Goats cheese salad was excellent. Squid was unbelievable - didn't feel like I was eating squid. Dessert was also another winner. Wine accompanying meal is sourced in village and also excellent. Would return although this is a little above average in terms of price and thus for special occasions. Place started empty at 7.30 but heaving by 9.00. And this was a Wednesday evening.

Went for dinner with friends, on a Wednesday night, what a shame they only had one other table in. We had the menu gourmand @ €26.90 per person. The crevettes mayonnaise was well presented with a lovely fresh salad. The gigot d'agneau was coked as it should be pink in the middle. Desserts were ok but nothing to get excited about. This is a restaurant well worth a visit. Try a wednesday when other retaurants are closed.

We were looking forward to the music evening Pop Jazz Swing. And the €20 menu. Beautiful summers evening, very conducive to relax and enjoy. So we were very disappointed by most aspects. Firstly the waitress wanting our aperitif order too quickly. Then wanting to take the main order almost immediately after that, without the chance to browse. The €20 menu would be difficult for many as the only starter was Salad du Geziers. Not many peoples favourite choice! We went for the €26. Our main of Seiche was almost impossible to swallow. Very dry and like rubber;unappealing to look at on our plates as well. The desserts were ok but not at that price. Nice setting in the village but sadly, very expensive for a mediocre Dinner.
