Très belle découverte un restaurant superbe ou la cuisine est excellente et les filles en services au top du top avec un Sourire et une gentillesse énorme merci à vous. Nous reviendrons avec plaisirs seul ou le faire découvrir à nos amis. Merci pour cette belle soirée qui étais pour notre Anniversaire de mariage à bientôt
Last night along with 2 friends visiting from South Africa we visited Ostinato for the first time. Initial impression was of a smallish intimate restaurant with a no frills interior. The lady who served us was friendly, patient and helpful with our friends who spoke no French. The starters were imaginative, plentiful and very tasty. 3 of us had the 22.50 menu and I had the 27.50 menu. The star of the main courses seemed to be the brochette (skewer) of pig cheek which was tender and very tasty indeed. Portions were generous and our friends who had been travelling here for several weeks said that it was the best meal they had had in France so far. The cheese plate was beautifully presented with an interesting salad in the centre. All desserts were very good indeed.So 3 x 22.50 menus, 1x 27.50 menu, a small pichet of wine and 2 pastis plus a bottle of Costiere de Nimes came to 125€. We all agreed that the quality was excellent and regarding value for money then it deserves five stars plus.Thoroughly enjoyed the evening and we will definitely be going again.
Last Saturday there were 9 of us to celebrate a friend's birthday. We received a very warm welcome and the meal was superb, imaginative, well cooked and beautifully presented. Must go back to try some of the other dishes! Can highly recommend the terrine de foie gras and the quail.
Came here on a Friday evening and there was only ONE server for the whole restaurant which included an inside dining room and a terrasse.
Nice, cozy spot for warm comfort food on a cold night.
Maybe we caught this on an off hour as we were the only ones dining here while other patios were packed.
