We had a delightful evening meal here. The choice of dishes was very limited, with just one starter, asparagus, being available, for example; and which was not particularly exciting. But the quality of the food from there on, the beautiful setting and the warmth of the welcome more than made up for any disappointment we felt at the lack of choice. I had the fish main course, and my partner the chicken, both of which were excellent. The deserts were tasty; just two choices. While this place is definitely in a class above the local competition, which serve mostly pizza and pasta, I'm not sure that the restaurant's claims to gastronomy are yet completely justified, although the potential is definitely there. I didn't get the impression that the quality of the ingredients was that special. But overall it was an excellent meal, served with grace and charm, in beautiful surroundings.Highly recommended.
