OK, so I may mean 'Typically French' in a good way! This place was right next to the hotel, so having spent the whole week traipsing around trying to decide on where to eat, we stumbled in here on the off chance. The decor was a bit dated, but there were a few locals eating, so normally a good sign. The welcome was a little brusque, and we were crammed into a very small table, but the owner soon softened once subjected to my schoolboy French.Menu was OK, not expansive, but not expensive either, La Ciotat tends to be more costly than an embittered ex-wife, and to find a cost per head of about 30 Euro was a pleasant surprise.Food was good without being spectacular, but all in all, a decent enough place if you cant be bothered to walk around the harbour for the fourth time.
