Très bien cuisiné et très bon, le serveur est assez rigide et expéditif, terrasse assez bruyante à cause de sa proximité avec la route, un des seuls ouvert ce lundi du coup beaucoup de monde.

Staying one night in La Cavalerie, we looked for a local restaurant, and expected - La Cavalerie being a very small town - a limited selection and maybe also a limited quality."Le bonheur est dans le sud" exceeded our expectations, having a very nice locale with a good ambiance, a good selection and quality of food, and very pleasant service - all at a reasonable price. Highly recommended.

.....and that is so true! The meaning of the name of the restaurant says it all. Lovely dishes from southern France.

Just minutes from the A75 south of the Millau bridge is this charming historic village (visit the ramparts) and an unassuming little restaurant. We arrived lunch time Friday and it was full. You could see why - the food was really good with generous portions and lots of flavour. The staff were rushed off their feet but still managed to talk to us about the food.

Lovely restaurant. Clean, modern with friendly service. Tucked away in this historic village setting. Restaurants in this area can be a bit hit and miss, but this one was defiantly a resounding HIT !

Sundays in France tend to be hard for us as most places are closed, this restaurant is special, the roti de veau was divine, duck breast salad, salmon and grapefruit salad, and the girls loved the cafe gourmand, waitress Cassandra made us very comfortable, a great place for lunch or dinner

A very good restaurant in a lovely setting! The perfect place to try some delicious french food. The staff were very friendly, even as they tried to decipher what we were saying in English. Definitely recommended.
