L'année dernière, j'ai examiné ce restaurant et j'ai dit que c'était dommage qu'il ne soit pas ouvert le soir. Le propriétaire m'a gentiment répondu qu'il ouvrait le soir à partir du mois de juillet. Ce fut une très agréable surprise de constater que cette année, il était...ouvert.
I don't know if this open in the evening during the holiday season but in June at least it only opens for lunch. A damn good lunch though. Fairly standard French fare but well cooked and priced. They dealt with 6 of us with no issues and it was very enjoyable sitting outside in the shade eating, drinking and talking for a couple of hours. Unlike one of the previous reviewers we found the service to be excellent.
Called in while in the area with my 30 yrs old son who speaks no French, I speak very little but enough to be able to order meals and drinks in most restaurants, however this place was slow to come to our table, slow to offer the menu du jour and slow to offer the choices for the menu! The waitress was inhospitable and inpatient..The food was simple but ok...There was another couple nearby who felt like they also had poor service, I actually had to get the bread myself and was given stale brown bread it was only 2.30pm and there was more customers in after us.Would I return?..NOWould I recommend?....NODid I give a tip? Think you can work that answer out
J'ai réservé une visite de dernière minute avec Sophie en novembre (juste un jour avant) et Sophie a été très gentille de m'héberger autant qu'elle le pouvait.
