Fantastic food. Loved by the locals. Always busy. I agree with other reviewers, the Irish guy who works there is really good and translates everything for you. Well worth a visit!

Traditional French bistro, straight from a film set. The staff are excellent and most speak good English. There is a particular Irish gentleman who translated the whole menu for us, and gave good recommendations on what to try. He had a clear passion for food and helped us take in the French culture. He really helped us feel comfortable with the language barrier and gave great customer service. The food in this bistrot is second to none, with a menu that changes every day, and ingredients picked from the market across the road each morning. The wine is also fantastic. Me or my partner had never really drunk wine before but upon leaving will definitely be drinking it again, even purchasing a bottle to take home, from the bistrot of course. The restaurant can get busy, but the other customers there are also friendly, and they also helped us translate the menu without us having to ask. We were also offered a glass of wine from neighbouring tables on two occasions. Overall a fantastic place in a fantastic area, whether you want to sit outside in the sun with a coffee or have a three course dining experience on a Parisian evening. This restaurant caters for all and is a real gem; do not miss.

We had a great night at Les Colonnes. Great food, great staff (a really friendly Irish guy who translated the entire menu for us), and the best wine! For two big main courses and a shared dessert and a bottle of organic (and wonderful) wine, we paid €70.Can absolutely recommend!

My girlfriend and I recently visited Les Colonnes and what a great experience it was. Firstly we were greeted by a very knowledgeable and kind English-speaking waiter he offered to translate the entire menu for us as the menu changes on a daily basis. He was also very helpful in selecting a bottle of wine which complemented the food very well. I must say that it is one of the best bottles of wine I've ever had hands-down. The restaurant has a local feel to it, in my opinion this is contributed to the location of the restaurant meaning out of the central tourist traps in Paris. All in all a fantastic experience my girlfriend and I ordered two entrées a bottle of wine and a dessert and paid around €70, in my opinion great value for money. Definitely worth a visit.

Nice French athmosphere and food in the centre of Issy. The feeling of a village, near Paris. Desserts are great, and the bread too.

Landed at Paris took an hour to get to my apartment and this was was the restaurant we thought we would try before catching up on some sleep. Well it was superb! I had my 2 daughters with me, one of which was celebrating her birthday, and all 4 of us enjoyed the entire experience. Food was excellent. Atmosphere was perfectly Parisian. Could not of asked for any more. We didn't speak much French, but was made to feel more than welcome.
