accueil chaleureux, très bonne cuisine. Seul restaurant ouvert sur l'île de batz, on ne regrette pas car très bien mangé.
We went for lunch and hat the plat du jour, pork cooked in cider. It was a lovely hearty dish, well worth the money. I would definitely go there again.
Food was very good, nicely presented.All prepared at the restaurant, with locally sourced product (when they exist).Room very pleasant with view on the peer and bay where water can withdraw completely if you are at low tide. Service was good but could be a tad more friendly may be.Certainly to recommend if you intend to visit this more or less car free island (not tractor free!)
We both had the salad, generous portions consisting of lettuce, lardons, and delicious warm goat's cheese, all drizzled with a vinaigrette sauce. The frites we had ordered arrived late just as we finished the salad (the waitress had forgotten them - she wrote nothing down when we made our choices) so they formed a slightly odd intermediate course. I revealed my origins by making a chip buttie with them, great!We drank fruit juices, had coffee afterwards, and the bill was a very reasonable 40 euros. We'd go back - the island is well worth a visit,
This was our first time here this year and the food was well prepared. I always think the wine is a bit pricey here but you are on an island and all the wine needs to brought in by boat. A good place to sit in the sun and watch the world go by.
Once you've stepped out of the boat ready to discover the island, have lunch at Les Herbes Folles and you won't be disappointed. All components of the lunch menu were really very good for the price. Fresh, well cooked fish.
WE ate in the Bignoreaux Langoreuse both nights and stuck to the standard menu. Few options but the specials change every night and we particularly enjoyed the monkfish skewers
A very convenient recently refurbished restaurant just as you get off the boat on the Ile de Batz the set lunch menu is 21 euros which is a bit on the expensive side for 3 courses but if its sea food you want this is the place. The ingredients are local and very fresh. The island is famous for potatoes and they are great. Wine list is a bit pricey too but since each bottle has to be shipped from the mainland its a price worth paying. I stuck to the local cider hear. We will be back.
