We had dinner here on a Tuesday evening. I wish I could write a better review, because the food itself was quite tasty: egg/cheese crêpe; ham/sausage/cheese crêpe with mustard sauce-doused potato; and dessert crêpe of pear, chocolate sauce, toasted almonds, and whipped cream. The crêpes themselves are made from über-nutritious buckwheat, yet not heavy as you might imagine--in fact, they are quite light and even delicate. My husband loved his cup of local hard cider.However, the service was as rude and inexplicable as the other reviewers on this site, as well as on Yelp, have mentioned. Two waitresses seemed to be tiptoeing around the smoldering cook (owner),? whose bad mood cast a pall over the entire restaurant. By the end, we couldn't wait to leave. However, although the two waitresses the cook all seemed eager to get rid of us, when we put down our credit card after finally convincing them to bring by our bill, no one came by to collect it.
