I had a menu of plat+dessert and it was wonderful ! I didn't expect the food to be so good; the dish was delicious and the dessert was superb, totally worth the price. Plus the service was good, they were nice and friendly. Love it !

The three-course dinner with aperitif, wine and digestif was altogether well prepared and well served, however the dessert was a bit of a let-down as it did not meet the general standard of the food served. It was a plate of messy heavy white "mousse", more some sort of butter cream, which was tossed in large quantity with little shape or taste on a plate far too small. When the waiter/owner enquired as to why the desserts had hardly been touched, he reacted quite negatively and argumentatively. His touchy reaction was uncalled for and inflated. Pity to end the evening on such a note because of such a triviality. Just offering an espresso after the meal as courtesy would have done the trick!

A small friendly resaurant which made our grandchildren welcome. A limited but interesting menu prepared to order by the lady of the house and served by the man.He best food we've had in Hendaye, however in my view a trip or drive to Hondaribia. Is well worthwhile with a better selection of restaurants than offered in Hendaye, which is tailored to the casual holiday market, which it does well.

We found this little restaurant in an area in the process of regereneration, with flats newly built or on the way. It is appropriately modern in decor, run by a friendly young couple - him front of house and her in the open kitchen area. As it was early mid-week we were able to chat with them both about their progress and plans. The food was excellent - as is often the case, the 3 course 'menu' seemed a good option. Everything was tasy and prettily presented. Our main course was monkfish with 'noble' rice risotto - a first for us.Business seems to be flourishing, so I'm sure we will be able to return on our next visit to Hendaye. Highly recommended.
