Comme le suggèrent notre note 3.6 et nos commentaires 1004, nous n'offrons rien de moins qu'une expérience gastronomique de premier ordre.
Seul resto d’ouvert sur Le Guilvinec à cette periode a part un kebbab et des pizzas a emporterLe resto ne paye pas de mine mais tres bien placé, face au port.Interieur tres vieillot mais accueil chaleureux comme la cuisineCassolette de Lotte au chorizo delicieuse
Nous avons découvert ce restaurant avec plaisir. La décoration et le cadre sont typiqes du Guilvinnec. Le service contrairement à ce que nous avons pu lire était au top. Les serveurs étaient très agréables et efficaces. Nous avons très bien mangé : nous recommandons le duo de poissons. Le restaurant bénéficie d’une belle terrasse extérieure donnant sur le port.
Super accueil, super repas, le saint pierre etait au top, arrosé d’un Chenin , la mousse etait extra, le crumble excellent ! Sans les avis on aurait pas decouvert, sans aucun regret, on a passé un super moment, en toute simplicité et super bon!! c est une super table sur le Guilvinec!
Je rejoins d’autres avis : arrivés sans réservation, on se sent pas bienvenus, ambiance d’une tristesse ! Terrasse extérieure pas nettoyée, du tout donc fermée malgré une très belle journée ensoleillée. C’est partie pour l’ambiance cantine. Ouverture des cartes vraiment sales, dont une avec les pages collées et malodorante. On s’est pas risqué et on est partis sans manger. Aucun regret.
We came by for dinner and the place was packed with locals and tourists. Waitress was very helpful and told us the waiting time. We decided to take a walk and come back later. Food was good and affordable. It was nice to see the local fishermen coming of their ships and come in for a drink or dinner. Owner is very sympathetic and passes by regurlaly to ask if everything is ok. If you have time go there. If you are in a hurry go somewhere else.
I found the restaurant in TripAdvisor and also the comments. We Just gave it a try...and yes it was busy and not everything went as logical as it should be, but the atmosphere and the food were good. A mix of people of the town and tourist. The owner, who is the cook, came to the table to check if it was alright. After dinner we had a very nice talk with him and he listen to our "suggestions" about the serving. He explained also that the professional waiter was not there the last weeks because hè had lost a family member. Nice to know they have life music on Friday and saturday...the owner is also musician!
Mad woman owns/runs the place. Service was bad and food not great. No attention to detail, no interest in the customer, left feeling cheated!!! The bill eventually came but was wrong. Couldn't attract anyone's attention so paid and left. Mistake well in our favour so thank you La Chaumiere!!
Stopped at this restaurant by chance. Glad we did. Helpful waitress, which was good as our French is very limited. Lovely and warm inside, with open fire lit. Food delicious, and well presented. Great music playing in background. Would highly recommend this restaurant for a meal.
