When the food eventually came it was okay - but service was terrible. Had to wait ages for even anyone to recognise we were there. Tables rammed together to maximise custom but no where near the staff to cope when it was even quarter full. It was a lovely spot but it was overpriced and generally poor.
Came here for a relaxed coffee out of the heat. we had a really welcoming waitress bring us to our seats overlooking the waterways and walkways. they have redorated recently i think as everything is white and serene. coffee is exoensive though as is everywhere in the area.
I had a truly delicious meal here, the steak with mushroom sauce and sauté potatoes was so tasty, perfect seasoning! The staff are friendly and engaging, and it is the perfect place to while a way an evening watching the world go by. Thoroughly enjoyed my meal.
We came here for lunch and had mussels and fries kids have food from the kids menu, we was hoping for a quick lunch but it took over 2 hours between ordering and paying. No complaints about the food only our waitress was not very keen of waiting on our table.
Breakfast served till 11.30. In the middle of town sit and watch the ferries come and go. Breakfast and coffee were fine quick service, sat in the sun shine no rush watch the world go bye. Great.
We ended up in this restaurant for lunch after some of the other restaurants were a bit too stuffy menu wise for lunch when we had two eleven year olds. The children's menu was great value and our son loved his muscles. The wine was great for the price and an excellent location for people watching.
Restaurant was busy and we requested a table for 8 was told 5 mins but when we went back it was obvious it had been given to others. Finally after getting seated we had to ask 3 times for a menu, waited 20 mins for drinks to arrive when they did we were ready to order food. Waitress refused to take order as she only did drinks!! Had to ask another 2 times for waitress to take food order. Over an hour after we arrived finally we had food which was very good but the whole saga of ordering had taken the shine off the whole experience. Staff didn't seem to be note red that the service was bad either would suggest you don't visit unless it's relatively empty!
Visiting Port Grimaud this year we decided a stop for drinks at Relais des Coches.The waitress expertly cleaned our table and attempted to clean the arms of the white carver chairs, explaining that sun lotion etc needed to be cleaned off. Unfortunately she did not succeed. This is obviously a known problem and while the chairs look attractive this is a big problem they should find a proper solution to.However ignoring the problem we ordered alcohol free cocktail €10.00 which my wife said was excellent and a small draft Heineken €3.90. We had a pleasant interlude resting and people watching.Next time we might find another place for a drink as I found the sticky arm rests unpleasant.
