I possibly had overly high expectations of this restaurant , based on some of the previous reviews. The decor was bright and modern, but given this, and the lack of other patrons, there was a sterile atmosphere ( actually there were loads of people upstairs, but they chose to put us downstairs). We went for the 20 euro menu, and the food was ok, but not any better. They were clearly trying hard to impress, with good presentation, but the food fell down on substance. The starters we had included the mussel soup and type of cheese on toast. I had a white fish main course, but it wasn't a well balanced course, being served with a set of puréed vegetables - ie nothing with any texture to counterbalance the fish. The desserts were the high point, including some delicious creme brûlée.
