dishes with titles that don't really let imagine the refinement that we see once the plate arrives! everything is incredibly fresh and enjoyable, you think at home, a small fountain, a small terrace, and a friendly atmosphere. the sheep that buzz, the great trees that enlave us, and happiness is not expected! (They are also catering)

has the origin of everything, the producers sorted on the part. enthusiasts who come back to the fundamentals, from organic culture, to traditional farming, to the constant search for perfection, the taste of taste is back in quercy. but who will accommodate these products so valuable to our palate ends, who will sublimate them? Jean-Pierre costes, the leader, unbridled, humble, talented, experienced. he fell small in the pot of the goujounac hospital, held at the time by his parents. ah, the unforgetable marthe has put us a genius of the kitchen, Jean-Pierre... he realizes a sumptuous refined cuisine, affordable to everyone with a lunchtime meal to make jealousy, the soup merchants. and in the evening, a la carte menu, the quintessence of talent, to breathe. Words are no longer enough to express the mouth's ravishing. jocelyne, his gente wife at the service, watches the harmony of the room and brings in the kitchen, very quickly, the praiseworthy words of the delightful guests. Thank you, jocelyne, thank you, master.

In January 2017 l`atelier de la Fontaine opened a small restaurant with 14 seats in addition to catering and courses. All food is locally produced and all vegetables are organically grown. This is beyond doubt a couple who lays both soul and heart into their cooking. They want to be characterized as auberge and I understand why. You get served huge portions of homemade food. Do not misunderstand me, although I characterize it as homemade it is tasteful, professionally dishes served. My husband and I shared a salad with foie gras and dried duck meat for starters. Lovely garnished with toasted bread and homemade chutney.I chose the veal chop with morels and cream sauce and he had monkfish with rice and vegetables in curry sauce. Both Incredibly tasty. I was not able to eat more, but my husband chose a nut cake with orange cream and salted caramel sauce for dessert. I got uninvited a spoon to taste. Heavenly, wish there had been room for more, but maybe next time?If you are interested in traditional French cuisine, come to Goujounac. Remember to book in advance, as the restaurant only accommodate 14 people.

we returned to L’Atelier de la fontaine to celebrate the 19th birthday of our sohne. we all love good eating so imagine my joy when my wife said that her meal of tuna brochette, back of cod, apricot tart was “the best ever”, then “OMG i. wants to eat here every night!” every meal in L’Atelier is a winner and I love it remains a underestimated, hidden gem.
