we had gone on the way to ski from Britain and had a night in epernay. they wanted to feed the children early (not always easy in France) and to stumble over this place a simple walk from the center. bar tabac with a restaurant so that we. a beer and a couple then blow into the restaurant. thierry the owner was so a gentleman and my children loved his character and his generousness. my wife and I agreed we had the best we ever had. oh, and it was very reasonable! will be back, thank you thierry!

my wife found this place so we could see it. it is connected a bar with a small restaurant. there was a New Year's menu where eating and wein for each cure included for a fixed price....We booked and held our atem. we arrived at 16 o'clock and there were a few people at the bar. the owner, thierry, greeted us like old friends and poured us a free champagne while we sat at the bar. we were worried that we will be the only people in the restaurant. with pm more people arrived and thiery asked us if we would like to join another couple on their table. that was in order, and there was another man in the table who was by chance the thierrys vater in law and another lady who spoke only French. the evening meal began with some nibbeln and a glass of dom perignon an excellent start to the ewning. the followed eating was excellent along with the wonderfully solitary weeping that matched the eating. michel, in our table language English, while his wife veronique could understand English, but could not speak, so michel translated. we had a fabulous evening and at midnight everyone came up and wanted to go for the new year. the evening ended with dessert and an excellent runiart blanc de blanc. a perfect end. we became friends with michel and veronique who took us from our accusation the next day and brought us to reims for the day and drove us to epernay. such beautiful people. it was a great night and we enjoyed the food, the excellent wee, the hospitality of their family and the company of our new friends very much. it would be interesting to go back to a standard dinner. the decoration is dated and nothing flashes, but on our experience, we would try it again. thierry was a wonderful host and made us like one of his friends, instead of customers. well made in a great evening

We went to eat at this place and there was nobody there. So the only people in the room. We just wanted a quick pizza and go. The pizza was very bad with soggy crust and what looked like raw pastry. Looked like out of...a microwave. I took bite and send it back. Then only what to pay for the wine but I had to pay for the pizza also. When I refused the owner stood in front of the door and would not let us leave. When I pushed him out of the way police came afterwards and arrested me and my girlfriend from the street and put us in jail until we paid for a pizza that we did not eat!!!! Never been so humiliated in my life. Please never go there !!! And watch out for Epernay police because they are very aggressive !!!!
