Limited menu but my husband and I would their couscous and tajines every day of the week. In the summer months they also have tables outside otherwise inside is small but very authentic. We love this restaurant.

situated by the sea at Barcelonetta. nice sea view (if you sit by the windows), very very noisy. good service.we had salads for the table (not something to dream about), seafood payia (for two ) and fish dishes.the payia was tasty and spicy. but there was not enough "fish" for 2 people. the fish portions were served very nice, the fish were fried and the vegetables by them were dry and poor.anyhow, we enjoyed the meal b/c of the atmosphere but the food was average. not more.

Probably not fair of me to write this review but we tried to eat here on a busy Thursday during a week of festivities (like the Medieval Festival) in Embrun, but didn't get that far. They don't take cards so we had to get cash. A couple of other tables were being seated outside while we went to get some cash.We returned half an hour later. We were ushered to a table on the 'terrasse' which was an upturned pallet adjacent to a main road and carpark just when the wind was picking up.I was not overly comfortable. The waiter just abandoned us and when I looked around I saw that every table outside (four of them) only had jugs of water - some of these had been waiting since before we went to get our money! For ten minutes the waiter neither acknowledged us or returned. We were squashed next to two men drinking pastis while all the while I was trying not to fall off the pallet. In the end I thought I could not countenance risking having to wait so long. The tables inside too seemed to be waiting and there was no urgency to the service even though the smells from the kitchen were sublime. What a shame!I apologised to the waiter and said we would have to go, he just shrugged his shoulders.

Being served with a sense of humor, travelling to North Africa with nations represented the server, the food and the wine..... Better asks what is available rather than reading the menu the owner will tell you what to eat! It is not...big, but cozy and always full, which is a good sign! Worth a try in Embrun.
