On a trip last year we were going to try this restaurant but in passing,on a Saturday, night it was empty so we ate elsewhere. This year we walked past at lunchtime and early evening and it was quite busy so we thought why not. Our French is reasonable so we de-cyphered the menu, an English translation wasn't offered. On ordering we were given one poppadom between us which had been heated over a flame and burned but undercooked. We ordered a prawn dish and a chicken dish with 2 types of rice. They were served in the smallest dishes I have ever seen in any restaurant anywhere. There were 4 small prawns and 4 very small pieces of chicken but enough rice to feed 6 people. The naan bread was half the size we get back home. What we got was very tasty but not nearly enough. At over 13 Euros we expected more. Don't go if you are ravenous.

There was limited copies of the menu, so one look and it was passed on to another table. We had to remember what we wanted to eat when giving our order. They ran out of large glasses for beer and only had 25cl glasses. We ordered large beers and they tried to charge us the premium of small glasses. Most of the food was cold, most of our order never appeared. The rice wasn't pilau rice which we ordered it was long grain with strange green bits of rice in it. We ordered lemon rice only to be given a slice of lemon to squeeze over the green rice. The nan breads, in fact, all the breads were a failure.A pretty damming report I know, so you'll understand that i cannot recommend the restaurant.

Indian food is always great, with plenty of veggie options. The restaurant is nicely decorated and very calm. I was only not so impressed by the daal and the naan bread, which is great normally but here it was a bit dry.

After 14 years of living in France and missing a nice Indian curry, we found this restaurant and decided to give it a go. We weren't disappointed. Although slightly different from the dishes we had in England, the meal was really good. The set menus were very reasonably priced, but we ate a la carte, and this was good value too. The staff were welcoming and service was quick, but not rushed. We will certainly go back again.

As a curry lover, I was excited to see this restaurant had opened recently around the corner from our hotel so we paid a visit on a Wednesday evening. The restaurant was busy, there were a few tables left and we sat by the window. You can see the room has been recently decorated and it was pleasant in there. There is a lot of choice on the menu with a good choice of wines too.I found the food very tasty and the portions a decent size. The food I had did taste authentic and I was impressed with my meal. Service was friendly and efficient and the restaurant was busy the whole time we were there.Well worth a visit and very convenient for the ferry port.

We were at the marina and decided to try something different. Searched Trip Advisor and opted for a nearby Indian. We then decided to revert to type and try a take away. It was OK, perhaps not surprisingly designed for French tastes. The nan we a bit unspecial and the curries a trifle bland.
