We went as a family, with our two teenage daughters. We booked earlier in the day as it's a small restaurant and it's the height of the tourist season, which turned out to be a good decision. We were made very welcome by the host, who is English, but obviously speaks fluent French. The menu is simple, but well executed. We had the smoked salmon mouse, which was delicious and followed this with the faux fillets with mushroom and cream sauce (which appeared particularly large that evening),the chicken and cous cous salad and meat lasagne, which was delicious and generous in proportion! We didn't manage desserts, they looked delicious, but our appetite wasn't up to the challenge. In short, go here for a lovely location, well executed dishes catering for a variety of tastes. If you would like a large foie salad or confit, unless it's on the daily menu, then perhaps somewhere else is more suited to your taste?
