Le Galipo - Carcans

Quand je vais à Galipo, je me sens à la maison. De saison, c'est intime, c'est sympa. Au milieu de la saison, vous vous sentez en vacances, c'est agréable et c'est bon. Ne change rien. Bonne année. Vive la réouverture 2017:

So glad we happened upon Le Galipo during our search for an open restaurant on a Monday evening in April. We get very frustrated at the lack of restaurants open for business during the off season in the area and so we were delighted when we found Le Galipo. Even more delighted to find the food to be of such high quality! We shared a very tasty Salade Landaise before having two excellent steaks, spoiling ourselves with Cafés Gourmands (last night of the holiday after all!)Service was relaxed and friendly, extremely helpful also bilingual which was nice. Loved the decoration, nice and cosy with a little bit of quirky thrown in.We will very definitely be back again, in fact given the fact that they are open from April to November we will most likely become regulars!

The place is very similar with different places for surfers. The food and the service is very nice. Very close to the ocean.

Like the other reviewers have said it is perfectly placed for a stop-off bite to eat when coming off the beach. Veggie Pizza was great (best one I had during my travels in France) plus service excellent.very busy with people lining up for tables which speaks for itself.

We stopped at Le Galipo on our way back from the beach. Excellent pizza, salad and beer. Just what we needed after a few hours on the beach and in the waves.

Not a restaurant, more of a pub-food place. Good pizze, and good quality beers. Great after a surf session.
