Hotel Restaurant Le Voyageur - Cadillac

A party of 5 of us stayed here whilst cycling across France. I had stayed here under previous management and loved the place. Our first disappointment was being told we couldn't get into our rooms until 6pm as they were in Bordeaux. Our 2nd disappointment was no air conditioning. Our 3rd disappointment was the slow service in the restaurant at the beginning of the meal especially. And the 4th disappointment was when they tried to charge me for a bottle of wine ordered by another couple sat on our table. When I pointed out that I had only ordered for our group 3 bottles of Rose wine, the response I got was.......Well someone has to pay for it!!! I suggested that this should be the person who ordered the wine and that the waiter should have noted who that was. After a protracted argument the owner in a very surly manner threw the €15 onto the counter.It would take a lot to make me return to this hotel. Its such a shame because the food was good, but care for customers was way down the scale.

Really oyster was not bad but nothing special and carpaccio don't taste to anything. Service need to improve but correct. It was empty when we was to take dinner. It was OK but nothing else

réception et service très amical, menu très abordable prix moins d'euro pour entrée plat / dessert. les produits sont de qualité et pour la plupart de la région. de délicieux plats (burger, salade, viande, plat de la journée. Je recommande les yeux fermés !

restaurant convivial et chaleureux! Un service rapide à midi et avec des produits frais et saisonniers. Très bon rapport qualité-prix. prendre des repas en temps partagé.
