Our recent visit to this restaurant was far below the standard expected from previous visits. The food was perfunctorily delivered. When the coffee arrived the bill was almost thrown at us.We had the set menu. My husband had the fish pate it was dry and had the texture of bread, I had the tomato and mozzarella. Lots of tomato not much mozzarella. Our steak was tough, the small potatoes were under cooked. Desert was too sweet. The best part of the meal was the coffeeWe shall avoid going again until the season is over.
I must remember not to order steak in a fish restaurant! I ordered it medium and it was completely raw. No apologies or anything. So much for service in this restaurant. The little potatoes on the side were very hard almost if they were prepared a long time ago. It is a shame how these restaurants with "only a nice view" keep on attracting people. If you look for better food walk to the centre of Cabourg!
We came at the beginning of the week and the end of the week. The restaurant was busy but the service was good and on each occasion the waiter was very helpful. The food was excellent and we came away happy!
I have eaten in this restaurant a few times each one gets better. This time we had a superb meal, we are going again tonight if we can get a table. I would recommend this to anyone who likes the speciality dish of fish. It's not my choice but looks great. Great atmosphere.
Wonderful view and a nice decoration leads one to believe this is a nice restaurant. Food is mediocre, management is very impolite and inflexible, slow service.
We have just departed this restaurant, we arrived to find the restaurant 50% full and many seats available in the window.We asked to be seated in the window but the horrible lady with short hair and glasses in reception refused to seat us because she would have to set the table and she actually claimed this "very lazy", they must be used to turning customers away and probably a minimum of €200.00 from our party, I wonder if the owners are aware of how terrible the staff are and are happy to lose business, we have move down the sea front to a place called Cafe de la Digue just a simple brasserie who understand customer service, we live in Paris and often come to Cabourg but we will never give our business to Le Beau Site until they change their staff who look after their customers.
My wife and I went to this place during 2016 Labor Day week end and had an amazing time there. The food is wonderful and for a reasonable rate. On top of that, the view is great and owners are very nice. We definitely recommend this place to whoever loves fresh seafood and nice view for an affordable price.
The restaurant is quite well rated in Trip Advisor and our experience confirmed this rating. We went there with our kids and some friends for a lunch in a sunny July weekend. We were lucky to book a table on the terrace with a nice view on the beach and the sea. Sea food and the fish that we ate were excellent as well as the Cote de Provence and Tavel Rosé. The service was impeccable and a special attention was paid to the kids.
