read the opinions, I expected something excellent. We ate well, it was good but a little expensive to my taste. the idea of wine bar is excellent but prices are not clear. We use a drink without really knowing how much it will cost us. The dish "ham bourg gers" is good but at 20 euros...The service is correct, the pleasant welcome. for the view on the estuary yes but from far and according to the angle.Breef: good but.

We found this on recommendation of Chateau de la Grave where we were staying and it is a superb place. Absolutely loved the food. setting and the way they present wine in chilled dispensers, so you can really taste around to find the ones you really like. Service was excellent and generally a fun place to spend an evening, or two!

A very good restaurant looking down to the Quay in Bourg. Had an excellent lunch, quality food, well cooked, with good service. Dinner can be busy, which shows how popular the place is. They have an excellent wine list and a card system for trying different wines by the glass from their high tech wine dispenser. Well worth a visit. Menus have English translation for those who need help

a nice restaurant with a very good reception, a attentive waiter and with very good advice for the choice of wines despite the restaurant having full display. The dishes are very good even if there were a little fries to my taste in my plate. but they are still good fresh fries and good fresh bread cooked on site. The concept of wine tasting in self-service glass, three possible quantities and this thanks to an individual magnetic card, is just great! possibility also to buy bottles of wine on site ... what we did obviously on the server's advice. In summary I really recommend this restaurant and I thank the waiter for his little gift!

bad service: the waiter doesn't even tell you that you have the possibility to choose a type of wine from the glass, asks only if white or red. view the wide choice of wines so decantated at least to propose some types of wine to the glass! then ordered a scaloppine to the Parisian, and duck breast. but surprised us after more than half an hour that the order had not been entered as the command. In fact the waiter returns to us to ask what we had ordered by apologies! lack of organization at the base. After this grave mistake, we decide to wait for what we ordered. a duck breast comes without infamy and without praise. Instead, my scaloppine cooked with blood is delicious, without taste and also the sauce of bechamel and mushrooms lacks flavor. mushrooms, strangely they are tasteless! In the second line I try to ask the waiter if I can choose the wine to the glass and finally brings me a card that gives you the possibility to choose from a twenty labels. and the wine then chosen by me is very good. Why not propose it first??? ? Once you get to the account the waiter apologizes for the inconvenience and offers us the glass of wine taken in second line. total for a hull and a duck breast and two wine glasses: 46 euros. the price could be right if it was followed by the quality. My advice: go eat a crepes a few meters away from the restaurant the plaisances. At least after that, you won't have anger in your stomach.

we arrived at 8:00 and at 10:00 we had not yet the dessert so we had not ordered 1 single dish.

Business lunch or we were looking for a place not too loud. From the entrance we are in the atmosphere of the region with the wine distributors to the glass.Finally good meal and suitable price for a noon.

the evening we arrived in this place where time seems to have stopped. a good restaurant with cured dishes, friendly staff and prices in the French average.
