Stumbled upon this Cafe on Sunday night after Rugby at Jean Bouin. Welcomed in by a couple of locals we enjoyed a pleasant evening with home cooked food. Wasn't busy so the chef also came out for a chat. The personal touches make the difference.
Staying with friends we visited Le Pousse Cafe (10mins from apartment) discovering a fabulous French treasure. Great service, fantastic food, good choices of wine and for the area, excellent value. Highly recommended when staying in the area.
This must been one of the worst dinner I've had. I had a three courses dinner which I started off with a under season pumpkin soup and finished with a tasteless apple pie with something that was suppose to be crumbles (not even the ice cream tasted well). My main course consisted of a piece of salmon and seasoned rice. The seasoned rice was tasty however the fish, which is suppose to be the star of the dish was not fresh. As you can see in the pictures uploaded, there is nothing wrong with the presentation. Sadly everything was under seasoned...Unfortunately the food couldn't be compensated with service we were given. The waitress did put in a small effort in trying to translate the menu (that was written in french) for us, but didn't check on us throughout the evening.All in all I would not return to this restaurant nor recommend it to anyone.
