Comme le suggèrent notre note 3 et nos commentaires 22, nous n'offrons rien de moins qu'une expérience gastronomique de premier ordre.
Very nice place, food is less than mediocre, given the price. Vegatables directly from a can! No help to put a parasol on the right place.
We stumbled over this chateau on the way back from visiting sarzay and we were so glad we stopped to eat.The four of us (2 adults, one 4yr old, one 8yr old) had the set meal and thoroughly enjoyed the evening. A perfect setting that was neither too stuffy or too casual and had all the glamour and presentation of a Michelin restaurant. The service was spot on, attentive yet not overly present and they were excellent with our children, as well as other guest's. The place was well setup for children and the lack of a stuffy atmosphere allowed everyone to relax and enjoy the meal (those with and without children). Wine list was good, though not exhaustive and the food was a delight, though there is little choice on the set menus, and whilst children get no choice, there food was as equally tasty and well presented as ours - "wow" said my 4 yr old when her appetizer was presented. The guinea fowl was particularly good.We will stay next time
Très bel endroit, la nourriture est loin d'être médiocre, compte tenu du prix. Des légumes directement en conserve ! Aucune aide pour mettre un parasol au bon endroit.
Nous sommes tombés par hasard sur ce château en revenant de Sarzay et nous étions très heureux de nous être arrêtés pour manger. Nous quatre (2 adultes, un de 4 ans et un de 8 ans) avons pris le repas prévu et avons vraiment apprécié la soirée. Un cadre parfait, ni trop étouffant ni trop décontracté, avec tout le glamour et la présentation d'un restaurant Michelin. Le service était parfait, attentif mais pas trop présent et ils étaient excellents avec nos enfants, ainsi qu'avec les autres clients. L'endroit était bien aménagé pour les enfants et l'absence d'atmosphère étouffante permettait à tout le monde de se détendre et de profiter du repas (ceux avec et sans enfants). La carte des vins était bonne, mais non exhaustive et la nourriture était un délice, bien qu'il y ait peu de choix dans les menus, et même si les enfants n'ont pas le choix, la nourriture était aussi savoureuse et bien présentée que la nôtre - "wow" a dit mon 4 ans lorsque son apéritif a été présenté. La pintade était particulièrement bonne. Nous reviendrons la prochaine fois
