Le Cosmopolis - Bordeaux

We ate several vegetarian burgers and for us it was one of the best! We also took in the entrance a Bavarian of tomatoes and salmon and dessert a half-cook of 70% chocolate with its crumble to the pistachio. the products are organic and local: in plain, good cuisine as you like to find in restaurants! the value-price ratio is also correct. may think to come at the beginning of service if you are pressed as it is not industrial dishes;)

We went there for our mom's birthday. very good reception, advice, kindness, humour and especially a very good refined cuisine. the purpose of the restaurant is to offer 3 dishes: a omnivore, a vegetarian and a vegan; with local, organic and seasonal products. The dishes that were served were beautiful and good!!I will return there with great pleasure. We ate at 4 for 110 euros: 3 admissions, 4 words, 2 desserts (we were more hungry but seen the rest of the meal we wanted to taste the dessert) and a bottle of sparkling vouvray very original.To recommend to taste lovers

We are in the neighborhood of Saint michel, old popular neighborhood. ...and the setting of this restaurant has nothing luxurious. the entrance of the restaurant is arranged with old sofas quite sloping. the restaurant room is located behind the bar?. It's a small room with no opening, no window. on wooden tables of paper sets. Nothing luxurious. Well, we can think it's irrelevant because the welcome is friendly. For the meal, you have to make your choice between the very limited proposals of admissions, dishes and desserts. (2 possible choices only.) no meat, no fish. served portions are ridiculously small from the entrance to the dish and dessert. However, the prices are excessively high in the portions and ingredients used that are neither rare nor expensive (beets, pasta, rice, apples... no meat or fish) in summary: we have not eaten at our hunger and we will not return. More than 30 euros per person to eat a ridiculous entry of broiled or repatriated vegetables, a dough or rice dish dish bottom with 10 grs of vegetables, 10 grs of cheese lamelles, 5 tiny pieces of asparagus, a crushed walnut and dessert a slice of 30 grs of well-dried chocolate cake and 4 lamelles of steamed apples. The wine is served in a very small glass, 4 barleys maximum.Here we are disappointed and we will not return. really too expensive and not quite copyy overall rating: Framework/Quantity/Price: 5/10

The meal was good but nothing exceptional. We were not seduced by the flavors offered. Same for the service. The atmosphere of the room is a little cold in the evenings where there is little world.

Isabelle's kitchen is as original and unusual as its owner is smiling and friendly! Very warm welcome, home-made kitchen and cosy atmosphere. And in addition, we were offered a little rum at the end of the meal!I warmly recommend!

We had booked a table for two, but when we arrived we still had to queue...more there was a concert and no one warned us (not written on the internet.) so we found ourselves to have to try to order with one meter of us Spanish singers, impossible to hear us and very unpleasant to be so close. Very slow service. meals rather expensive and not incredible, there was only the vegetarian burger who was worth it. We ordered wine that never happened. I was really disappointed with the amateur restaurants offering vegan/vegetarian.

On a beautiful Thursday evening, my friend and I had high hopes for Le Cosmopolis. This well reviewed restaurant was perfect for us - 1 vegetarian and 1 pescatarian who love good food!We ordered 2 starters and an entree, and all were incredibly bland and basically inedible. No salt, no flavor, no seasoning and the vegetables were overcooked into oblivion. I'm not sure why this place has good ratings, we've both visited many vegan/vegetarian places that season food.The pasta we got was so bland we had two bites and that was it. No sauce, just noodles, cubes of boiled veggies and carrots. The avocado starter did not resemble any avocado I've ever tasted. The one high point was the wine, great recommendation! Either way, huge disappointment for our first night in Bordeaux.

This was the most disappointing dinner experience I've had in the recent past. I came here with high hopes, since both of us are vegetarian.We ordered 2 starters and entree, both incredibly bland and inedible. No salt, seasoning, or flavor of any kind. The pasta was plain pasta with overbooked vegetables and no sauce. The avocado starter resembled nothing I've ever seen seemed an avocado. I'm normally very open minded about most restaurants, but this was awful.
