La Grande Poste Espace Improbable - Bordeaux

Yet another chance encounter that worked out brilliantly. We were too late for. Lunch at another nearby place and we're seeking shelter from a rainstorm as well as lunch after 2 p.m. This very attractive modern space was perfect. Started with two reasonably priced glasses of champagne accompanied by foie gras in a puff pastry (which came without request and no charge). Plat du jour, also very reasonable, was a perfectly cooked slice of fish (Marlin?) on a bed of Cantonese rice, with peas, carrots, bits of ham, and a nice butter sauce. Friendly service.

we went here after a hockey game and the place was quietit was know for a late night spot but not this night.

Tried this place because it is open late and a friend told me about it.__The first time there we took a pizza and some rings and it was decent.

Ordered a variety of things from this place.
