We found this place in the old town of Benefacio and stopped for a drink and bite to eat. I tried to order a bruschetta but was told initially that the Terrance was for drinks only - the waiter then returned with our drinks and had managed to get me the food I wanted which was a nice touch. We found the Bruschetta Corsica delicious and the service very good - recommended.
Too hot to eat something, after strolling around the church od St Marie Majeur, I was seduced by the numerous sorbets made with fresh fruits in front of the entrance door of the church built in the 12th and 13th centuries. Not really cheap, I must say that tey were worth the price I paid. I don't know if I could recommend "Chez Vincent" for it's food, but for the sorbets, yes, you can go for them.
It was a nightmare. There was an insect in my dish! When I showed it to the waiter he was very rude to me and very unfriendly. I have never ever seen such thing before...
Sitting by the flowers in the sunny square. What could be nicer? We had a good meal. Not the absolute best but very far from the worst. The owner/manager is a real character. I am surprised at some of the very negative reviews. I do think though that perhaps an extra waiter would improve the speed of service. The kitchen is fairly small and only one chef.We enjoyed our lunch and would return.
Food is not good at all. Only the position is good, since it is open-air, in a small square in front of an old church. Find a better place, at least for dinner!
During our visit in Bonifacio we discovered this unique and beautiful terrace just in front of a historical church. The surroundings with typical Corsican buildings around the terrace is really nice. The atmosphere there is unique: sunny if you want and shadow if that's your wish! And then the waiter: with his blond hairs a very cheerful boy who gives you the feeling that you are very welcome in Corsica and it feels like you are his first client! Also the menu was tasty and delicious: we had breakfast and an other day lunch. We should recommend this terrace to everyone who will visit Bonifacio!Chapeau!!
