This is a francophile's dream of the ideal small-town restaurant, come true. Family-run, welcoming, authentic, unpretentious -- the bill of fare presented on a slate board. Ordering dinner turns into a lively conversation. You end up rooting for the restaurant's success and looking forward to your next visit.
Exquisite food on top of fine wine selections. Good service and friendly environment. Highly recommended.
the owners have been anthony and claire for some time, and they maintain the same high standards as marie. anthony is a really good cook. there is a love to detailed in all. I enjoyed sparing, plucked egg and smoked. lachssalat, klempner de porc (you can see that one up! and fresh strawberries with homemade coconut ice cream. macon villages and a st nicholas de borgeuil. both are excellent.
for me it is the best in the opposite, was on this place so often with family and friends and they liked it too. I recommend this restaurant
I was in the opposite, but had forgotten to make some money. telephoned le bistro and received a friendly reception. they can pay in a variety of hinsicht (carte bleue,) but not by the dishes! . there is a menu for approx. 15 euro I...Dink plus wein extra. the main dishes of this day were saute de veau or a fish duo, but also, as a back, steak andouillette. several starters. I took the jerusal artichoke soup that was special. also pain perdu with a small pot caramel was very good. the restaurant is located in a beautiful village that you can reach from Salies du salat via a pleasant ride through hills and forests and farmland, unlike the flat land below. marie an and her team give me a warm welcome. the bistro is open at the weekend and at several evenings, which fill a gap in the opposite. but in advance by telephone, as they are not open for school holidays. (I think the restaurant also produces lunches for the school via the street) a trip from the autobahn or from st gaudens or aurignac.

Charmante petite auberge perchée dans la montagne ! La nourriture est délicieuse et l'accueil est très sympathique. La décoration a été modernisée. Une bonne adresse !
