We had planned to go to the cafe further down the beach but it was closed despite TA saying it was open - annoying. The owner at Le Pavillon initially said they were closed as it was such a grey and wet day but then very kindly called us back and said they could do any of the salads for us.We chose the nicoise and the tomato salades. Both simple but generous and tasty. Along with a beer and nice fresh baguette, it kept the wolves from the door. The restaurant is set on a lovely beach.

Very good seaside restaurant. Friendly, lovely owners, pet friendly, very good service, right by the sea. For lunch and dinner: good fresh fish, excellent pizzas, past and ice creams.

The restaurant is located on the left side of the beach. Eating wasn't impressive. Price adjusted to peak season. No cards accepted, which is a Korean problem.

I was alone vacation, near 2 small children age 2 and 5. I went to lunch when the restaurant was practically empty. I ordered a children's meal (2 Frankfurter with chips price 10€ and a drink for me. The staff speaks... hardly English, and no one clarifies whether I wanted one or two meals, and I only asked one, definitely not used plural. There was no way that each of my children would eat the full meal, and I ordered a dish to share for them a whole week. To my surprise came two plates, and when I said the second was not for me the owner came angry and shouted at me. She said in bad English that 2 children so that they take 2 meals that there are corsica and there are no separators that she hopes that I will never come back that I am a tourist and I am here for them to make money from me, that with 5 € a child that does not make money... and many other inappropriate things... the French have luck that Corsica is so beautiful as they are certainly not their tourists. It has been 18 years since my first visit to France, and only after about 6 years since my last visit. So sad to say that nothing has changed. French still do not speak English, and I am not English, Polish indeed, and I think they have become even more rude that they have ever been....

The food was a farewell. my fish was lukewarm so not heated very well in the microwave. loved Corsica but found the restaurants largely disappointing. We have to spend more next time. nice people and it's upsetting me to give a bad review... the food.

We visited this place on the beach and felt like we did not eat and had little children we might not be so welcome. We were told on arrival that the coffee service was ready. To the ice creams and my daughter ended with something she didn't like because of the speed of service and communication. We were not back at other visits to the beach!

The food was OK, the view was great due to the haze caused by the local forest fires making the sun set red but apart from that passable... Probably the most average of the eateries we frequented during our 2-wk trip in Haute Corse
