there were no vegan options when I visited. I was told that they sometimes have them, and sometimes not. disappointment, because all reviews sounded wonderful.

very open staff, no fuss just really good quality patisseries. in a city that focuses mainly on burgundy traditional eating, it is so refreshing to see a place that welcomes those who are looking for vegan options. Thank you!

we were going through and decided to have breakfast here based on the previous review. we were told that for vegan dishes they usually order in advance, but the cook went out of his way to make us vegan skyberry cake before place. together with our capuchino with soy milk we were in the sky when they have preordered they probably have the choice of more types of cake. also every amount of seats at least in the morning.

Beaune is famous for its wine and food, the latter of which is mainly based with beef, snails, pork, chicken, eggs, butter and cream. While the town is charming in many ways, it's vegan Hell. Finally, a little Heaven has come our way with Thomas Bouvart's Patisserie which recently began offering passionfruit raspberry tarts, then cassis raspberry tarts and now chocolate mandarin tarts. All three delicious tarts start with a crispy crust (which has flaxseed as one of the ingredients) and then a very fine smooth fruit filling. The passionfruit and the black current tarts, have a strong burst of the fruit flavor, which is complemented by fresh sweet raspberries. The mandarin chocolate is my favorite, with a subtle delicate mandarin filling decorated with swirls of dark chocolate vegan ganache. Bouvarts is also 1 of only 3 places in Beaune, where you can order a vegan hot chocolate or cappuccino. The owners speak French, English, Spanish and a variety of Indian languages. Parul who manages the front is delightful. She's friendly and helpful. Her influence, I suspect was a driving force to experiment with vegan options in a geolocation so dependant on animal products. There are seats outside as well as in the back. A beautiful ceiling reminds you of what a Celestial experience these tarts are! The one drawback is that the non-vegans have discovered the vegan tarts so they sell out.

Un vrai plaisir, j'ai acheté 2 gâteaux à la dernière minute pour l'anniversaire de mon mari une nuit, ravi de trouver non seulement des pâtisseries qui partagent, et excellent. De plus, comparez beaucoup de viennoiseries aujourd'hui, elles n'étaient pas congelées et très jolies. Nous reviendrons sans hésitation, merci aussi pour l'accueil du patron qui était si gentil et chaleureux.... Merci pour tout!!!

une pâtisserie exquise et sophistiquée. Le personnel est très chaud et souriant. Et leurs macarons sont terriblement bons!!! Je recommande fortement.
