Les serveurs et serveuses très gentils, de très bonnes pizza. Gros point noir : ma femme a découvert une petite rondelle de plastique dans sa coupe glacée. Nous en avons informé le patron de façon discrète. Un geste sur l'addition et des excuses auraient été les bienvenus. Rien de tout cela. Dommage, nous ne reviendrons pas.
So I realize giving a poor rating without actually tasting the food may be unfair but the rating is also based on service.. or lack thereof in this case.You need reservations for this restaurant.. even though it was a quiet week (Wednesday evening) at opening time. The waitress was extremely rude and didn't even greet us. She literally came up to us and asked if we (2 of us in total) had reservations and we didn't. I didn't realize you need reservations for a pizzeria and when I read the reviews on trip advisors and I didn't see any comments about requiring reservations. The restaurant was about 25% filled and it was early compared to when people usually eat. In any case, after travelling for many hours, I felt like pizza and researched on a good pizzeria in Angers so it was very disappointing to be greeted by a rude waitress that spoiled the evening.
We arrive into Angers and we were starving and walking through the middle of the city when we find this little place. Pizza its something we love and didnt have a chance of eating during this french trip so it was a good plan seating here. The place its run by its owners and the menu its basically all pizzas. We decided to share one but when we saw everyone with a pizza each we decided to change the order to one each. The pizzas are very thin and in a pancake style daw but very crispy and full of flavour. By far, this was one of the best pizzas we had in a while. And dont miss the desserts! Specially the ice cream cup with berries and chocolate! Prices were very good and service great! Dont miss it if you are passing by...
Grub is ok: they have good pizza's with the real tasty Italian flour. But the entourage is somewhat like a plain tourist restaurant.
The restaurant is located just five minutes walk from the chateau in a village-like area.The food was much better than we had expected. Very good super-thin pizzas are on the menu. Don't even think of ordering anything but their above-average pizzas. Great lunch solution in Angers.
We Visited the castle in Angers as two families with kids (10, 8 and 5) and as there was no child friendly cafe (but there was an excellent friendly and helpful restaurant for adults in the castle!) we ended up looking for a pizza restaurant within 5 minutes of the Castle. Pizza Napoli ticked all the boxes. Very friendly. Quick service, very family orientated with pizza decorated to look like faces for the kids. They loved it. Adult food good too. Excellent salads, and lasagne. Would visit again with kids.
Not much to look at from the outside, but the pizzas were amazing... 15 of us turned up for lunch, and all of us really enjoyed the food. The staff were very good and the food reasonably priced.
The people next to us had amazing alcoholic desserts! We ordered pizzas and there was more than enough food, good quality, and a nice patio to dine on.
