Nice service, lovely specialities, the Cordon du Chef, a Cordon Bleu with Serrano and a special cheese was fab. The side dish, spaetzle was cold unfortunately, but the Muster cheese sauce made even the cold ones taste great. Worth it!

A small restaurant which was not open until Thursday evening dispite its rave reviews on TA !!! Enjoyable evening , waiter attentive & will revisit. The vineyard opposite is the best I've been to for quality & value -- Jean Wach

We were enjoying a week's wine tasting and touring in Alsace and came upon this excellent restaurant by chance. We'd only meant to stop to 'boire un coup' but our French friend insisted that he eat at noon - too early for us - so we had a tiff, stayed to eat and boy were we glad! Excellent service and superb food. A rillette to start followed by a lovely pork dish in a delicious creamy sauce. This was the plat du jour and was about 11 euros for three courses. The wine by the 'picher' was also superb. This is a must visit for lovers of good, unpretentious food. There's also a super upstairs 'salon' where we much enjoyed our Alsace Riesling.

Plain chevre chaud, but not bad. Decent tartar. Terrible salade alsacienne - probably supposed to be like that though. But definitely avoid that. No tartes flambees for lunch on weekdays

This was the restaurant where we first tried Tarte Flambe. I don't know if they make the best one in Alsace or not, but we really enjoyed all 3 varieties that we ordered. In addition to that we also ordered Salad Gourmand with a little bit of everything including salmon, duck breast, foie gras. For dessert we ordered lemon meringue pie that was also very good.Pretty much everything about this place was good, the food, the service, and it wasn't expensive. What was also very helpful is the fact that our waiter spoke English so we had no problem communicating with him.

Five guests dined this evening enjoying fine food and good service. All was great until the bill arrived. There were three significant errors on the bill. The original bill with errors totaled 167 Euro. After several corrections, the final bill was 95 Euro. Our advice, enjoy the food, enjoy the service but check your bill.
