Steak Easy American Food - Amiens

Looking for somewhere to eat on a quiet Sunday evening came across this American Style Diner on a street close to Cathedral & on way to Old Town. Decorated with Full Size red Prop Plane on roof along with wall of denim jeans, US advertising for Cigarettes Etc Cowboys Indians Etc along with blue and red plastic table clotthes. Certainly not a French Restaurant but that is what makes it. Slightly 'tacky' but in a fun way and prices very reasonable. Menu very Tex Mex style with burgers and steaks as well. A steak with Frites coleslaw (homemade) and salad with a sauce for about 24euros with many items much cheaper. Staff are French who have little English but seem good natured and helpful and our meal came Quickly. Steak very juicy and flavoursome.Bill for 2 steaks , Beer and Coke came to about 50 euros. French Classic - definitely not but Great value, cheerful and fun yes certainly.

Coming from America, my husband and I decided we had to see this place for ourselves. The decor gave us a laugh. On one wall you have a large American flag, on others you have denim jeans or hundreds of packs of Marlboro cigarettes or cowboy and Indian figurines. Then they play music videos from the US, most quite old, but definitely fun and family friendly. The food was decent. My husband ordered ribs and chicken wings and I ordered a cheese burger well done. The burger came to the table sooooo undercooked I think the cow was literally in the back mooing. So I switched meals with my husband and took his ribs. My husband liked the burger, but since I had ordered a small for myself, he needed more so ordered the wings. He thought the wings were great, but they were advertised as buffalo and actually come with bbq sauce instead. The ribs had a great flavor but were pretty tough. Presentation of food was great, prices seemed fair. My husband and I speak little to no French so it was nice being able to read the menu. The staff knew no English but we were easily able to order with no problems. If in America, I would have sent the burger back but in France I had no idea how to approach that. Advice- get the appetizer platter. Someone else got that near us and it looked great. Most everything on it was fried. Maybe don't order beef/burger if you want it cooked well. The guac looked amazing too.

Both the wine bar and resto serve excellent food. Burrata at wine bar. 3-course prix fixe at restaurant. Everyone here will be American, but don’t let that deter you

The service was ok the steaks are very good. They use too much cheese on some dishes and I ate ribs there and I dont know if it was old or they cooked them too long but you could bite into the bones. But they give you a lot to eat for your price.

For those who don't know any better. Perhaps that 's why the majority of customers were children.I was served with the worst fajita I have ever eaten worldwide.Who serves half a plate of rice with this dish?All of the components had clearly been cooked together to a uniform shade of grey. The tortillas were like cardboard. This place made TGI Fridays seem like a gourmet restaurantThe ambience was ok but there had to be some redeeming feature to compensate for such truly awful food. The prices were quite high and you could have expected much better quality

Seriously horrible :) I'm smiling because the the place has a great location, a really cool interior, lot's of guests (!?) but horrible food.How is it even possible to fail so badly with such simple menu? If you like bad fries, soggy wet grey burgers, a salad leaf and dry bun... well, then this is the place for you my friend!

Good US food, good price, quick service, ma cantine!

restaurant idéal pour de grandes places. prix raisonnable, grand choix de plats qui sont cohérents. Parfait pour une fête.
