Comme le suggèrent notre note 4.5 et nos commentaires 419, nous n'offrons rien de moins qu'une expérience gastronomique de premier ordre.
Le hasard... Une belle découverte pour ce petit restaurant où l'accueil est agréable et l'excellente cuisine! Une bonne valeur pour les aliments de haute qualité, région, maison et hyper fait!
Delightful staff, delicious food, the couteaux were sublime and the vacherin caramel sale dessert a must.
Excellent food and service. Chef obligingly altered the menu to suit a vegitarian and a non fish/seafood eater. Friends arrived later for coffee and pud. Nothing too much trouble. Highly recommended for food, service and friendly staff.
Everyone has raved about this restaurant so we had to try it . Perhaps our expectations were too high and we were expecting far too much.My husbands fillet of steak was tough abd chewy. Mushrooms served with meal were watery and rubbery we could not eat them . My Dorade was fresh and a good size just slightly bloody and undercooked . My fault perhaps should have sent it back to be cooked for a little longer .Dessert and starters were fineService was quite goodWe will try again as this restaurant is always so highly recommended
Excellent service for 6 adults, a toddler and a baby. The razor clam starter with the house sauce was absolutely delicious, as were the main courses of prawn risotto and the beef.
The formula is simple. Good ambience, friendly service, excellent food. And reasonable pricesOn the face of it just another of the string of mediocre restaurants on the sea and riverfront at Le Grau d'Adge but this one is very different. They obviously have a good chef and care about presenting good food and wine at reasonable prices.
Having decided to go to O Grain de Sel after reading various reviews, we were not disappointed. The lunchtime menu provided a number of options for all 3 courses and both of us were very pleased with our choices, which were delicious and at 17.90 € per person it was very good value.We shall definitely be returning.
My husband .and I had lunch here today. We are staying in Grau and so that my husband could have a glass of wine we followed recommendations from trip advisor. We did not book but were given a nice table for two on the pontoon. The first two courses from the 17.90 formule were excellent. The deserts were very good but had slightly less wow factor, but that didn't detract from the good value of the menu of the day. We had coffees and paid the bill. The only down side and perhaps we misunderstood the French but several tables seating French cliental were offered what appeared to be a complimentary liquor perhaps Muscat after paying the bill. It would have been nice to be offered the same whether we wanted it or not as every customer should be treated the same. However as I say perhaps the complimentary bit was misunderstood but did seem to be offered after the bill was paid. We had already discussed returning in a few days and there is no denying that the food and service up to then lived up to its reputation but perhaps we will try somewhere else??
