We have family who live a little way from Le Relais and visit them once or twice a year, we always have lunch at least once during our stay, the food is fantastic as are the hosts. The menu of the day consists of help yourself cold meats salads pates etc, which are always lovely, then two of three choices for mains, last week when we went it was pork Provencal, pigs cheeks in a creamy sauce and fish in a sauce (the fish Looked Lovely too, but we didnt have it on our table) all were divine, served with veg and a lovely potato dish, then a cheese board is shared and the bread basket topped up throughout if you run low, followed by a choice of four deserts, i had rhubarb Coulis others had a cream and chocolate filled choux, followed by a lovely coffee, and accompanied with a choice of local wine. All home made and for under 13E each, the host are lovely and fluent in English which helps us, as our french is basic.Lovely place to spend a hour or two.
