Parasoir is just below the pinnacle of the St. Cyr mountain, a regular stopover for cyclists, motorcyclists and view-appreciators who just want to appreciate the panorama. The restaurant is arrayed in typical roadhouse fashion, with the front door facing the road (and outdoor dining ON the road). Meanwhile, the killer view is in the BACK of the restaurant, and viewable from picnic tables that adjoin the restaurant -- at which restaurant service is not available. We dined here on a weekend evening and were delighted by the food. Chef/owner is extremely capable and creative. Food was delicious and plentiful. While pop is in the kitchen, mom works the front. She does a better job than most of keeping service going and at avoiding protractions beyond diners' patience. It's great to have this restaurant there. The use of the view is suboptimized by the owners, and it is a missed opportunity.
