This place has obviously been put on the proverbial map and its easy to see why: it's a good looking place that serves good food.On the day of our visit something was obviously not right with the staff. It seemed like - our French is not good enough to enquire - the entire wait staff had the day off and the manager had just asked two random young women to help out. One of them seemed to have some experience but the other one couldn't possibly have had more than 15 minutes training and little experience in actually being in a restaurant. Gordon Ramsay would've had sleepless nights over it. There really were a lot of awful faults made. Not the food though, or the restaurant or lovely outside eating area that was nearly completely filled with guests. That's really well done. Good portions, well cooked. Despite the fairly useless service that day we didn't mind, as the food was good, we had to ask for or get nearly everything ourselves and were still happy campers. We weren't pressed for time obviously, and were not afraid I ask...two other tables offered us their bread, we got our own condiment tray and were three on a table set for four so there was an extra setting that helped out.I guess the manager's really up to the task as the obvious temporary help could've ruined a lot for his guests. So if you have the time an a serious appetite a real good choice. Hopefully the usual wait staff are back...
