We have passed the sign for this many times but only happened to go by chance last night, This being our first visit we decided to try all the choices on offer, the lady taking our order was very patient explaining what everything was, between our limited French and her similar English we were fineWe had the two course menu choice, excellent value for !3.50 Euro each, our starters were very good and were freshly prepared. We had a lovely pork dish described as curry but was more gingery in flavour than expected but tasty, and we also sampled the Merlu which we expected to be a fillet of fish however was broken up and tasted salty. Both main dishes served with ample rice and a sauce made from butter beans. We had a side dish of chilli cucumber which the waitress was happy to spice up a bit more for us. All this was washed down with a potent rum punch and some local Reunion beer. We sampled the sweet potato gateaux for desert which was not to our taste but was traditional creole fare, other deserts like chocolate fondant and ice cream were also offered. Would definitely go back
