OK, its not going to have foodies from over the world rushing to try it and you needn't drive yourself mad starting a campaign to get Michelin to give it a star. It is what it is, a perfectly acceptable neighbourhood brasserie, open all hours, freshly cooked food from a not uninteresting but not spectacularly innovative menu, excellent service, good wine at a reasonable price from a fairly comprehensive list ( avoid the blandishments to over spend) sensible prices, a relaxed, musical environment and no hassle. Parking in the area is easy and free. You could do worse.
