We travelled from Bern, Switzerland towards Luxembourg. At one point we were looking for a place to stop by have a snack and freshen up. Since we do avoid fast-food places and prefer quality food we searched for a place in the area we were in and found this lovely place in Bavilliers, a bit off the highway, but it seemed worth it because of the description: Hot bread all day long, various selection of sandwiches, coffee... etc. basically anything a hungry traveller with a bit of road ahead could wish for.My wife got inside ordering some food and drinks (2 quiches with different topping, a coke and a coffee)After having passed the order, my wife asked for the restroom to freshen up. To our biggest surprise: They bluntly told us that there are no toilets! In my disbelief I asked if there were any public toilets anywhere close. They told us no...We did not realize that you could run a restaurant in Europe without providing sanitary facilities. So we quickly ate, could not really enjoy the food that seemed to be all right and tasty and went to "refresh" and "relief" behind a deserted barn off the main street in Bavilliers...
