My friends thought the SatNav had taken us to the wrong place. The outside of the Grill de la Tour is small and unimposing particularly as I had told them to expect a really good lunch.Parking is on the street and a little awkward, but we parked out 3 motorbikes and went in.The interior is charming, although quite dark, particularly when you come in from bright sunlight. We sat near an open wood burning fire used to grill meats. The smell of the wood and meats added to the experience. The staff were all really helpful and the lady in charge is charming. The food was exceptionally good. We all had a smoked salmon starter. Two of us had shrimp salad as a main, which arrived with 4 hot and 4 cold shrimp on an mixed salad with a tasty garlic dressing. The third main was a trout which was easily filleted. ALL the food was exceptionally good and we loved the atmosphere and service. This is a restaurant you would have to seek out, but worth the effort.
